Toolbox Studios named agency of record for Sushi Zushi

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Award-winning communication design firm Toolbox Studios announced today the signing of its newest food and beverage client, Sushi Zushi, a highly-popular, Texas-based restaurant concept offering traditional and avant-garde Japanese cuisine.

With four successful locations in San Antonio, one in Dallas, and plans to expand into Austin, Sushi Zushi management determined it was the right time to seek the guidance of a professional marketing agency to steer the expansion of its brand. "We’re at a point in our strategic growth plan where we need to proactively and holistically manage our brand," said Al Tomita, Sushi Zushi's owner and founder. "Toolbox's experience developing restaurant brands, and the processes it employs, are perfectly aligned with our vision for our company."

Toolbox is charged with the development and rollout of a comprehensive branding program that will solidify the restaurant’s positioning, messaging and brand identity. In addition, Toolbox will develop a comprehensive marketing plan and manage the execution of all marketing, advertising and PR tactics. Mark Broderick, Toolbox Food and Beverage Account Director, is leading a team of account managers, strategists, creative staff and media planners who are dedicated to the Sushi Zushi account.

"We’re truly excited by the opportunity to work with Sushi Zushi. We believe they have a superior product and a bright future. The team is committed to helping them reach their business goals," said Broderick. "It also doesn’t hurt that we’re all diehard sushi fans here at Toolbox."
