Toolbox wins a Downtown's BEST Award

SAN ANTONIO, TX — Last Friday, Toolbox Studios received a 2008 BEST Promotion award at the Downtown Alliance's 8th annual Downtown's BEST Awards, which recognize individuals and organizations making San Antonio a better place to live, work, shop, play and be entertained. Toolbox accepted the award for its "2007 Fiesta River Walk Jet Ski Invitational" promotion - a fictional event designed to raise eyebrows and serve as the backdrop for Toolbox's annual River Parade party. The promotional material designed by Toolbox featured a realistic illustration of jet skiers making waves in the famed river as colorful Fiesta spectators along the River Walk cheered them on to victory. KSAT anchor Ursula Pari, the award luncheon's master of ceremonies, introduced the award as one of the judging committee's favorites.
