Toolbox site awarded "Best-of-the-Best" for use of Flash
SAN ANTONIO, TX -- This month, Toolbox Studio's new Web site, www.toolboxstudios.com, won the Electric Rain (Erain) Featured Site Award for "Best-of-the-Best" interactive design featuring 3D Flash.
Electric Rain, the industry-leading developer and supplier of 3D-to-vector Flash solutions, is a first-stop resource for Flash designers, and frequent partner to Adobe, Macromedia and Microsoft. Awarded monthly, the Erain Featured Site Award went to Toolbox for use of "the simplicity of Swift 3D's primitives and animation capabilities to transform a 2D concept space into a smooth transitioning 3D Flash website."
As part of the award, the Toolbox Web site was featured on erain.com alongside an interview with Toolbox designers Derek Goins and Paul Soupiset. The interview provides an in-depth discussion of Goins' and Soupiset's background in design, experience with Swift 3D, and their approach to using 3D techniques on the new site.
